Wendy Porter our wonderful administrator sadly passed away and we all miss her very much
Wendy was until her death administrator of the International Women’s Forum (Ireland) and such was the value of her worth that she was awarded honorary membership of the organisation. Her ability to become involved and to get things done was legendary.
It was during her illness that Wendy’s qualities really surfaced. She was diagnosed with cancer six years ago, but from then until her death her illness rarely managed to dent her spirit or to stop her doing what she had planned. She displayed remarkable leadership and courage and was an inspiration to others. She never lost her sense of humour and spending time with her was always fun and special. Wendy was a remarkable and special person and those who knew her were the better for it.
